People oppose shifting of mixer plant from their locality in Bhaderwah | KNO

BHADERWAH , MAR 18 (KNO) : People of different villages of Bhaderwah which included Dradu , Neota and other areas today staged a protest and demonstration on Doda Bhaderwah road near Dradu area here on Sunday opposing the local administration’s reported move to shift the black topping mixer plant cum stone crusher from their locality .

More than two dozen people staged a demonstration at Dradu area here demanding the administration immediate stalling of the move to avoid inconvenience to the public as mixer plant is a source of employment for them . Ex Sarpanch of the area Ashok Sharma along with Kuldeep Sharma , Parshotam Kotwal , Ankit Katoch and others addressed the demonstrators and alleged that the irrational move to shift and shut mixer plant from their locality will snatch the employment of dozens of families and also impact the over all development of Bhaderwah .They said owner of the hot mixer plant had assured them he will follow all guidelines sand take all such steps which will decrease pollution in the area .

They also prepared a NOC for local administration and submitted it to owner of the plant and also criticized some self interested people who are opposing the functioning of plant in area .(KNO)
